Chatterjee plans movie on serial blasts

MUMBAI: Like Madhur Bhandarkar, director Ujjwal Chatterjee, is also known as a realistic filmmaker. His next film after Utthan is titled Life TV, which will be produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Limited.


 


The film is based on incidents happening in India like serial blasts in Mumbai, Godhra and Best Bakery case incident and terrorism in Kashmir.


 


Life TV, is based on Sharat Chandra Chatterjee’s novel Mausam. My wife and I have done a lot of research work before starting this project. The movie is produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Limited is on the unpleasant incidents that have occurred in India,” says Chatterjee.


 


“My message is to the world is all Indian Muslim are not terrorist and terrorism on Kashmir independence. I will also show how terrorism is connected to this incident and after completing the screenplay. The movie is budgeted around Rs 40 million (Rs 4 crores) and will roll in December. The film will be sot in Kashmir, Gujarat and Mumbai,” he adds.


 


Ujjwal is also making a movie for a Pakistani producer Zahid Basir on the life of Pakistan‘s president General Musharraf and is titled Musharraf.
