ATS director meets Police Jt. Commissioner

MUMBAI: Writer – director Neeraj Pathak, who is currently working on his film ATS (Anti Terrorist Squad), recently met the Joint Commissioner of Police Subhash Avate for research on his film.

ATS is based on the investigations on the 7/11 attack in Mumbai and is being co-produced by Sunny Deol’s banner in association with K Sera Sera.

“I met the Mr Avate at his office at Crowford Market. We had a meeting, which lasted for two and a half hours and he was happy that we are making the film. He was also happy that we were showing the police force in a positive light and he gave me many tips for my film. He narrated five sequences to me, which I will be incorporating in the film. He also gave me the printout of a chapter written in his book Terrorism And Human Rights. I will be meeting him again in the next few days and also ATS chief K P Raghuvanshi,” says Pathak.

This film will also throw light on how to tackle terrorism and political pressure and will go on floors in January 2007.
