Cinemax India inks slew of tie-ups

MUMBAI: Multiplex chain Cinemax has inked a slew of tie-ups in order to enhance patrons’ movie-watching experience. The first of it being the partnership with Voice Mentor Softwares, which is into providing mobile ticketing solutions.

With this tie-up, patrons who book tickets via internet, phone (telebooking) or SMS booking will get an SMS in the form of a bar code on their mobiles. This bar code has to be flashed at the box office and the tickets will be readily handed over to the patrons.

The other tie-up is with HPCL, wherein Cinemax and Ags Infotech will set up multi-utility kiosks at 25 HPCL outlets in Mumbai. Patrons wishing to book tickets for Cinemax can book it from these kiosks by cash or credit card. There would be collaterals available on the e-kiosk to inform the customers about different services that can be availed from the kiosk (mobile bill payment, cinema ticket booking, air ticket booking etc). There would be a promoter present at these kiosks to assist in availing the services.

Cinemax has also tied up with Imint for a coalition loyalty program wherein the member can earn points from different partners like Cinemax, Airtel, HPCL, ICICI, Indian Airlines, Lifestyle and Makemytrip.com and the accumulated points can be redeemed for various things offered by these partners. One plastic card (it’s not a credit card) will be issued to anyone wanting to enroll for this loyalty program. To collect points, one needs to swipe this card upon using services offered by the partners. Points can be redeemed against movie tickets also.
