MUMBAI: Multiplex chain Cinemax India has promoted Devang Sampat as president – sales, marketing and operations.
Prior to this Sampat, who has been with Cinemax for the last 10 years, was senior vice president. He will report to Cinemax India managing director Himanshu Kanakia.
Sampat has worked in various capacities at Cinemax keeping marketing and sales as his core competency.
"I am very elated by the responsibility offered to me as I have seen this organization growing. From single screens to world class multiplexes; I have witnessed the transformation of my organization as well as the industry. I have a great team of colleagues to work with and I am sure that I will meet the expectations of my promoters," Sampat said.
Cinemax operates 94 screens at 29 locations across the country.
