MUMBAI: CNN-IBN and IBN 7 along with their online entertainment web portal, Buzz18.com have come up with ‘Aaja Nachle â€“ Madhuri Makeover Contest’.
The initiative aims to give female viewers a chance to win a makeover by fashion designer Manish Malhotra and Subbu, the stylist who were responsible for Madhuri’s look in Yash Raj’s Aaja Nachle. The three finalists will also get the opportunity to meet Madhuri in person.
All the happenings will be telecast in a half-hour special, ‘ Main Madhuri Bana Chahati Hoon’, on 1 December at 9.30 pm on IBN 7 and 3 December at 11.30 pm on CNN-IBN.
To enter the contest, one needs to answer a question â€“ ‘Who is the star of Aaja Nachle?’ and send in the entry either through sms or online. 50 contestants, selected randomly from all correct entries, will be asked to complete the slogan â€“ ‘Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon because â€¦’, accompanied by their photograph and contact details. The short-listed entries will then be put up on the website along with their photographs and slogans. Viewers will then vote for their favourite contestants via Buzz18.com or through sms to 52622 and those to receive the maximum number of votes will then make it to the top. The chosen finalists will then be flown to Mumbai to receive a complete makeover.
The Madhuri Makeover Show will showcase the journey of these three contestants, their entire makeover experience and the excitement they experienced before meeting Madhuri.
