David Dhawan to direct Ramsay’s next

MUMBAI: David Dhawan will direct producer Keshu Ramsay’s next film, a big budget extravaganza to be chiefly shot abroad.

Says Ramsay’s production designer Kamlesh Kumar MPS, “David Dhawan is directing Keshu’s forthcoming film. Akshay Kumar plays the male lead, whereas Vidya Balan plays his love interest. The film is a comedy thriller and will be shot in Canada and Bangkok. We are waiting for Akshay Kumar to finalise his dates as he is shooting for T-Series and Priyadarshan’s Bhool Bhulaiya in Jaipur. After our last production, Family – Ties Of Blood, we have been lying low for almost a year. Hopefully, this film should roll by April or May.”

Akshay Kumar and Keshu Ramsay’s association dates back to 1994 with Sabse Bada Khiladi, which was followed by Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi in 1996, Mr & Mrs Khiladi in 1997, International Khiladi in 1999, Khiladi 420 in 2000, Khakee in 2004, Insaan in 2005 and the latest, Family-Ties of Blood, which released in 2006.
