MUMBAI: Actor Deepti Naval is now ready to take up direction.
Says Naval, “We have zeroed in on a couple of scripts; out of which, one will be launched soon. I have plans to wield the megaphone myself.”
Sources say the final draft of the script is ready, and that Naval will be using help and resources from her former husband, filmmaker Prakash Jha. Naval is currently having several closed door meetings with her close knit crew at Jha’s new office at Andheri, in suburban Mumbai to finalise the film. Naval is expected to essay a role in the film too.
Naval’s last film as an actor was Yatra. She has recently signed a film with veteran filmmaker Sai Paranjpe.
