Discovery Travel & Living to present the Michael Jackson story

The sheer scale of his success has never been equalled. This year, Jackson announced to perform a staggering 50 concerts in United Kingdom. Discovery Travel & Living in a one-hour programme, The Michael Jackson Story, to air on 2 August at 8 with a repeat at 10 pm will capture the riveting portrait of Michael Jackson demonstrating his artistry from singing to dancing, from concept to song creation, from The Jackson 5 to The Moonwalk and right up to the announcement of his concert extravaganza in United Kingdom. Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine, and siblings Latoya and Jermaine, will tell his story and share exclusive revelations about his life. Providing surprising insights about the legendary star, influential star maker Suzanne de Passe, who nurtured his career, Gladys Knight, who first discovered him, Smokey Robinson, who mentored him at Motown, friend and dance director Jeffrey Daniels, and his Thriller video director Steve Barron will share their experiences.
