DQ Entertainment concludes licensing deals with broadcasters

Mumbai: DQ Entertainment has concluded licensing deals with leading broadcasters for animated content that it has co-produced.

Major TV licensing deals have been concluded with broadcasters including CBeebies, Turner, Nickelodeon and Disney. The following are the recently concluded agreements:

Twisted Whiskers, a CGI animated TV series, 52×11′, co-produced by DQE, American Greetings and Taffy Entertainment, USA. This has been acquired by Disney Channel India for India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

Disney, Singapore has also acquired Twisted Whiskers, a CGI animated TV series, 52×11′, co-produced by DQE with American Greetings and Taffy Entertainment, USA for Singapore, Brunei, Malaysia, The Philippines, Indonesia, East Timor, Cambodia, Laos, Macau, Mongolia, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam,  Papua New Guinea, and the People’s Republic of China as well as non exclusive rights for  South Korea and Hong Kong.

Ratman an animated TV series in traditional 2D animation, 52×11′, co-produced by DQE and Stranemani, Italy. This has been acquired by Disney Channel India for India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

Sandra an animated TV series, 52×11′, co-produced by DQE and Imira Entertainment, Spain. This has been acquired by Disney Channel India for India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

Nickelodeon has acquired Broadcast rights for the TV Series Casper’s –Scare School for India, and non exclusive rights for Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Burma and the Maldives.
