MUMBAI: eBay India in association with Satya Paul will be auctioning five exclusive sarees that have been sported by Mandira Bedi during the World Cup.
Specially designed around the cricket theme, each saree will be on auction on eBay India starting at Rs 2,150. The auctions run through April 2007. The proceeds of the auction will be donated to Mouth & Foot Painting Artists (MFPA).
The five designer sarees that are being auctioned on eBay India sport a medley of prints that include flags of cricketing nations, signatures of cricketing greats, a red ball theme, newspaper mastheads and cricket figurines. The collection titled ‘Bowled On The Run-Way’, is game centric and not country centric.
