Filmy launches ‘Mission Corporate’

MUMBAI: Sahara’s film channel, Filmy, has announced an initiative that aims at recruiting personnel for the channel even as it woos viewers for the satellite premiere of Madhur Bhandarkar’s Corporate on 11 February 2007.


Dubbed ‘Mission Corporate’, the initiative involves seeking applications for various posts in the channel’s corporate office from the viewers. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed over the telephone as part of the initial elimination process. The final eight will be interviewed by a panel of judges comprising professionals from the advertising and media industry.


The interviews of the final eight candidates will be shot and capsuled as an one-hour programme that will be aired prior to the telecast of the film on 11 February. Profiles of the candidates will be aired during the commercial breaks and the winner will be announced at the end of the movie, says an official release.


The contest, which opened on 30 January 2007, is open to graduate viewers above 21 years of age. Applications can be sent to corporate@myfilmy.com along with the resume, and a brief write-up on the applicant’s reasons to join the Filmy team. The last date for receiving the entries is 2 February, 2007.
