MUMBAI: The title of Yash Raj Films’ upcoming ‘Ishaqzaade’ has generated a whole lot of interest amid fans.
‘Ishaqzaade’ was not the first choice. The first title for the movie was “Tewar” which means attitude. The team then thought over it for a few days, and came to a conclusion that its not just attitude but the combination of a love story and attitude.
“Once the title ‘Ishaqzaade’ was locked, it was felt that people were curious as to what the term actually meant. It so happens that one of the dialogues of the film aptly explains the origins of the word Ishaqzaade and all that had to be done was to put out the same," explained a spokesperson from YRF.
