Mumbai: The creative head of Frameboxx Animation and Visual Effects Paresh Parekh recently conducted acting and film making workshop for animation students.
Acting provides emotions and expression into animation, said Parekh. He is in Chandigarh to conduct special acting and film making classes for the students of animation.
A well-known artist of the Hindi and Gujarati television media, Parekh is has been the casting director for Ketan Mehta’s film Mangal Pandey: The Rising, Dream Production’s Naina, Rakeysh Ompraksh Mehra’s Rang De Basanti, Percept Picture’s Jai Santoshi Maa, the upcoming films Lonawala Khandala Ghat, Kidnap, and Rangrasia.
Parekh is planning a comedy movie for which he has completed the script and would go on floor early next year.
"I have been inspired by mentally challenged children whom I used to teach earlier, and their freedom of action is what I try to make animation students throw away their inhibition and learn about the body movement, expressions, posture, which can be generated through computer graphics to add realism to the animated objects", he said.
Animators, he said, are not only the creators of character but also the directors and actors to infuse life into inanimate graphics who come alive and entertain once it is executed with perfection.
Animation is being used extensively in the field of advertising, cinema, television, education, simulation for health and aviation, besides hi-end gaming industries that offer immense opportunities for a career in the industry to the Indian youngsters.
