MUMBAI: Salman Khan is known to think only with his heart and so most often his decisions are pretty inexplicable. Take this for instance, Salman was all set to walk the ramp to promote his film Wanted at the Kolkata Fashion Week, but the actor cancelled his appearance as well as the other stars of the film. And the reason is none other than his old enemity with John Abraham.
Salman has borne a grudge against John ever since the duo went on a world tour many years ago. The senior actor, seeing that the show was not making enough money, opted out to move out of his lavish hotel accommodation to a slightly less expensive one, so that the show organizers would not be burdened with additional financial losses. While all the other actors in the tour agreed, John refused. And since then Salman has kept his distance from the handsome hunk.
So when Salman realized that the event organizers handle John’s business portfolio and John had walked the ramp in the first edition of the Kolkota Fashion Week, he refused to promote his film on the same platform. A source from the event organizers revealed, "We were shocked when Salman called the deal off. This was the first time that a fashion event had tied up with a film’s promotion and fans in Kolkata were eager to see Salman do his strut, but at the enth moment, the actor called it off."
However, we are told that Kareena Kapoor has no such issues. Her feud with Bipasha Basu is legendary when she called the dusky beauty a "kalli billi" on the sets of their film together, Ajnabee. Now, Bipasha walked the ramp in the last year’s event, but Kareena who will be walking for good friend Manish Malhotra has no such inhibitions.
In tinsel town, they all exist in soothing harmony… with a little bit of sugar and a little bit of spice.
