MUMBAI: E-City Ventures promoted Fun Cinemas launched its new property – a single-screen cinema with a capacity of 255 seats – in Guwahati.

The first movie to be screened there was Heyy Babyy.

Fun Cinemas COO Vishal Kapoor says, “The new property covers an area of 10, 000 sq ft and is equipped with the state-of-the-art technology and three-way surround sound system. The auditorium seating arrangement offers three different options to choose from; Business Class, Gold Class and Silver Class, to suit individual preferences and budgets.”

“Today, Fun Cinemas has become the fastest growing multiplex chain in India. We have registered a tremendous growth of 176 per cent in just one year, having grown from 17 screens to 50 screens and entering new markets,” he adds.
