Fun screens Mr Bean’s Holiday for patients

MUMBAI: Fun Cinemas in Andheri, Mumbai, hosted its annual charity screening for underprivileged children suffering from Thalassemia (major) on 6 May 2007.


Children who watched the film received special treats and interacted with celebrities like TV artistes Delnaaz and Rajeev Paul, Ayub Khan, Rajat Bedi, Anand Surayavanshi, Sharad Kelkar and artistes from the Ha Ha Laughter Challenge, through fun games and activities.


The screening was held in association with WE CARE, an NGO for children suffering from Thalassemia (major), a disease which does not allow patients to survive beyond 20 years. The children were given gifts, food and refreshments upon their arrival at Fun Cinemas. The special screening of Mr Bean’s Holiday began at 8:30 am, during which the children were served a range of delicious snacks from the concession stands.


After the screening, the children participated in games and had the chance to interact with the celebrities.
