MUMBAI: Singer Kailash Kher has launched his second album, Jhumo Re.
Performing for a celebrated audience at the event, Kher entertained music enthusiasts with songs from the new album by band Kailasa, which comprises Kailash Kher, Paresh Kamath and Naresh Kamath.
With Jhoomo Re, Kher has extended himself from his Sufi image to provide folk music with urban and contemporary sound. Kailasa Jhoomo Re contains nine songs that convey different emotions, sounds and melodies.
“Kailasa Jhoomo Re contains emotions and sounds that every Indian will relate to and enjoy. We have mixed contemporary folk music from our country with the energetic tunes of today. It is definitely an album that music enthusiasts across different age groups will enjoy,” says Kher.
