MUMBAI: The Global Indian Film Awards (GIFA) 2006, the glamorous and prestigious award ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia, will be telecast on Sony Entertainment Television on 8 July, 2007 at 8 pm.
GIFA – a global brand and the brainchild of Popcorn Entertainment & Sunil Shetty and Global Events was attended by a galaxy of Bollywood stars –Asha Parekh, Shatrugan Sinha, Smita Thackeray, Hrithik Roshan, John Abraham, Salman Khan, Bipasha Basu, Aftab Shivdasani and some of Bollywood’s style icons like, Minisha Lamba, Upen Patel and Esha Deol.
