MUMBAI: Golmaal, Golmaal Returns and now it’s time for Golmaal 3 to tickle the funny bone. The makers of Golmaal and Golmaal Returns have started pre-production work on the third movie in the trilogy.
Both the films were directed by Rohit Shetty. According to sources some of the cast of Golmaal Returns might be cast in Golmaal 3. However, nothing has been finalized as yet. The film is slated to go on floors by February – March 2010.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, writers Farhad – Sajjid, who wrote the dialogues for Golmaal Returns confirmed, "Yes, we are working on a third film in the Golmaal series. We are writing the dialogues for Golmaal 3. The pre-production work of the film has started."
Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision’s Golmaal released in 2006 starring Ajay Devgan, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Sharman Joshi, Paresh Rawal, Rimi Sen, Sushmita Mukherjee and Vrajesh Hirjee. On the other hand, Golmaal Returns released in 2008 and starred Ajay Devgan, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Kareena Kapoor, Anjana Sukhani, Amrita Arora, Celina Jaitly, Vrajesh Hirjee and Rakhi Vijan.
