MUMBAI: Govinda Ahuja (yes… that’s the name that Govinda likes to be called now) is all set to rock the audiences with Do Knot Disturb. The actor, who is pairing up with his favourite team of director David Dhawan and producer Vashu Bhagnani, is gung ho about life and his movies.
"It is like a family coming together. David’s comic timing has not dimmed over the years and Vashu is still the ever lavish producer that he has been known to be. Do Knot Disturb is a film that people who have seen us in our earlier films like Coolie No 1, Hero No 1, will relate to and enjoy," Govinda tells Businessofcinema.com.
Apart from the euphoria of doing a good film, Govinda has put a lot of effort in looking the role. He confesses, "I have shed all my excess weight. I have started doing yoga and I am careful with what I eat. I am aware of how much I eat during the day and at night accordingly, I work out."
Seeing Govinda mingling with his fans, one can clearly see that the actor is back in his elements. The laughter is ringing loud, the body is well dressed in a smart suit and the confidence is of a man who knows what he is doing. This is a Govinda on a comeback trail and the actor is making sure that he is singing the right notes to not just woo the critics but also the fans who had once made him the No 1 actor of Bollywood.
