BhagamBhag marks Priyadarshan’s 25 yrs


MUMBAI: Director Priyadarshan will complete 25 years in filmmaking with his upcoming comedy film BhagamBhag, which will release on 22 December. The movie has been produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd and Suniel Shetty’s Popkorn Motion Pictures.


 


BhagamBhag stars Akshay Kumar and Govinda along with Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, Tanushree Dutta, Arbaaz Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Manoj Joshi and Jackie Shroff. BhagamBhag is about the hilarious trials and tribulations, Akshay and Govinda go through together as theatre artists with Paresh Rawal’s theatre group.


 


Over the last 25 years, Priyadarshan has churned out various films with diverse subjects. Some of them include Viraasat, Kalapani, Hera Pheri, Malamaal Weekly, Chup Chup Ke, Kyon KiHulchul, Hungama and Garam Masala amongst others.


 


He has a total of 69 films to his credit of which he has written almost 40 of them. His other venture for 2007 titled Chandralekha, which stars Anil Kapoor, Tabu and Mahima Chaudhry, is slated for a release next year and is at present in the post-production stage.
