MUMBAI: This Holi has proved to be auspicious to the father and son duo, Ramesh Sippy and Rakesh Sippy. As the Bombay distributors of Yash Raj Films’ Dhoom:2, they have reasons to rejoice.
Dhoom:2 has emerged as a money spinner and is celebrating its 100 days run today (3 March) in Mumbai and many places. The film has been distributed in Mumbai by Sippys’ Raksha Distributors.
Says a source in Raksha Distributors, “Dhoom:2 has entered its 15th week. The film is celebrating its 100 days run today at five cinemas, viz; New Excelsior (matinees), Cinemax – Sion (matinees), Gossip, New Shirin and Prince (Bhayander). It has also completed its 100 days run at Delhi, parts of U.P. and other circuits.”
He further informs, “Incidentally Mani Ratnam’s Guru has completed the 50th day of its run at New Empire (1 show), Inox (1 show), Metro Adlabs (1 show) and 25 other cinemas.”
