MUMBAI: The trademark pink bus featured in the forthcoming Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd (HTPL) has hit the road to promote the film.
Excel Entertainment’s Shamira Karim says the unique pink bus has cardboard cutouts of all the characters pasted against the windows and is currently running between Andheri and south Mumbai. The company also plans to allow couples to board the bus, she adds.
The bus will also be used to ferry the film’s stars to the venue of a press conference, to be held on 21 February 2007, it is learnt. Contests and promotional freebies, exclusively for couples, are also on the cards, says Karim.
Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd is a story woven around six newly married middle-class couples, a guide, a driver and a handyman riding in a bus from Mumbai to Goa, on a package honeymoon tour. The film is slated for release on 23 February.
