MUMBAI: Sejal Painter is getting ready to put her film editing skills on hold while she contests the forthcoming civic elections in Mumbai.
Painter, who has a commerce degree from Mumbai under her belt, has worked as associate editor for films like Fiza, Phir Bhi Dil Hindustani, Mangal Pandey, and more recently, UTV’s Khosla Ka Ghosla. She has also edited television serials like Home Sweet Home.
Painter is contesting the elections on a Nationalist Congress Party ticket and if elected corporator for ward number 60, will represent the suburban area comprising Four Bungalows, Manish Nagar, DN Nagar, and Bhavan’s College in Andheri.
