The Thakur Cinemas is being revamped as My Cinemas and will be installed with 2K, 3D largest screen with XT sound. My Cinemas has a seating capacity of 668.
The new features used at Thakur My cinemas are as follows: myMax ,a 70 foot wide screen.XT Sound a 3 way XT sound system for critical sound reproduction in large cinemas with maximum output and minimum distortion using the Aperture Bi-Radial technology. The system at peak produces a power of more than 20,000 watts RMS. 2K Digital,a DCI Compliant D Cinema which makes My Cinemas capable of showing 3D movies.
My Cinemas are opening their next property in Q4 2010, in Bulgaria with four screens at a shopping mall in Pleven Bulgaria. The Company is also sizing up the markets in Romania and Turkey. In India My Cinemas shall be launching their next property in Haridwar in Q1 2011. My Cinemas targets to have 300 Screens in the next 3 years.
