Imran Khan to cycle for animal welfare cause at Mumbai Cyclothon

MUMBAI: Sport18, the sports marketing division of Network18 group and BSA Hercules have joined hands to launch the BSA Hercules India Cyclothon that will take place in Mumbai on 24 April, 2011. This year, Bollywood actor Imran Khan has pledged his support towards the mass cycling event and will be cycling for the cause of animal welfare.

BSA Hercules India Cyclothon – Mumbai 2011 will have participants from all walks of life, including amateur cyclists, cycling enthusiasts, working professionals, housewives and school children.
 
Khan said, "I am delighted to be associated with the BSA Hercules India Cyclothon’s Mumbai edition and am thankful to Sport18 for presenting me with this opportunity that will help raise awareness for a greener future. Personally, I am promoting the cause of animal welfare and look forward to the whole-hearted support of Mumbaikars for this mega event."

The organizers have partnered with animal welfare NGOs to promote the cause.
