MUMBAI: After launching its second property in the city of Jaipur earlier this year, multiplex chain Inox Leisure Ltd has now launched its new property in Bharuch.
The new theatre, which is situated at Rang Multiplex, Rang Palace in Gujarat’s city Bharuch, commenced operations from today (13 July, 2007).
Inox currently has 14 multiplexes in 12 cities namely Mumbai, Bangalore, Baroda, Chennai, Darjeeling, Goa, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kota, Nagpur and Pune.
The company is also planning to add new properties in Mumbai (Borivali), Vijaywada, Lucknow, Jaipur, Faridabad, Kolkatta, Hyderabad, Raipur, Bangalore, Nagpur, Jodhpur and Pune amongst others in the coming months.
Inox’s mrger with CCPL for 89 cinemas), will give it access to an additional nine multiplexes in West Bengal and Assam. The company also has an an alliance with the Pantaloon Group, which provides it with preferential access to all real estate developments, which Pantaloon takes up for its retail chain. The properties acquired through this alliance will be in addition to the properties that Inox has locked in on its own.
For FY 2006-07, the company’s net profit was up by 41 per cent.
