MUMBAI: Shyam Bajaj’s Rocky – The Rebel has been in the news lately due to the continous change in its release date. However, all those doubts about the release can now be laid to rest.
Speaking to Businessofcienma.com, Bajaj said, “I had never finalized the release date of my film so the question of postponing does not arise at all. However, now we have finalised the release date as 22 September. I am surprised at how the media can write about my movie and its release dates without asking me.”
Rocky – The Rebel is directed by south Indian director Suresh Krisshna who returns to Hindi cinema after a gap of 14 years. He last directed Love, starring Salman Khan and Revathy, which was also produced by Bajaj.
What’s more, Bajaj will soon be starting another film project with director Anant Mahadevan titled Anjaam — a trilogy after Aksar and Agar. “I have not yet finalized the starcast of Anjaam but Anant will direct Anjaam,” confirms Bajaj.
Incidentally, Anjaam is also the title of the Shahrukh Khan – Madhuri Dixit starrer, which was released in 1994 and was directed by Rahul Rawail.
