MUMBAI: Producer director S Raamanathan’s Zamaanat, slated for a 2 March 2007 release, has now been pushed back to 16 March 2007.

Confirms Raamanathan, “I read Mr Bachchan’s interview in a tabloid recently, which quoted him saying that Nishabd (the RGV film) and Zamaanat releasing on the same day could jeopardise the prospects of either. We have been friends for three decades and I acted before he could ask me do anything about it. Now my film will be released on 16 March 2007.”

Zamaanat stars Amitabh Bachchan, Arshad Warsi and Karisma Kapoor in the lead.
