MUMBAI: Actor Jackky Bhagnani will be walking the ramp for the first time on at the IIFA for Rocky S. Bhagnani has left for Columbo to be part of the IIFA where he will be walking the ramp on 3 June, 2010.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, enroute to the airport, Bhagnani said, "I am very excited about walking the ramp. This will be my very first experience and I am looking forward to it. I will be wearing a modern cut suit, a white jacket with a broach."
Bhangnai is also on the squad of the 14 players to play the cricket match, however, he is not sure whether he will end up playing. Speaking about the controversy regarding the event, following protests by Tamilians, who are against holding the film fest in Sri Lanka for the atrocities meted to the Tamilians in the country, he said, "Even though I am not that big a star or actor to comment on behalf of the whole industry, I would like to say that all of us are going there just to be part of an event and not doing it to prove a point or hurt anyone’s sentiment."
