MUMBAI: The now in-famous British television actress Jade Goody, who participated in the Celebrity Big Brother along with Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, has arrived in India. Goody’s trip is being seen as a ‘make ammends’ gesture for her controversial racial remarks against Shetty on the show.
Reacting to Goody’s arrival in New Delhi, Shetty’s spokesperson and publicist informed that Goody had not yet contacted Shetty. “India is full of very tolerant and cultured people and everyone is welcome. Shilpa doesn’t hold grudges or animosity for anyone. That’s the way she is. After Big Brother, she has moved on in life,” said Shetty’s spokesperson.
Shetty is currently shooting round-the-clock for Anurag Basu’s Metro, which is slated for release soon. She is simultaneously also completing her dubbing for Metro as well as Anil Sharma’s Apne, which stars the Deol family namely Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby. Shetty is soon scheduled to fly back to the UK to honour her Western commitments, informed her spokesperson.
