Jury for second GIFA Awards selected

MUMBAI: The jury for the second Provogue – Global Indian Film Awards (GIFA) has been finalised. The jury this year will comprise Shyam Benegal, Sajid Nadiadwala, Sandeep Chowta, Jackie Shroff, Smita Thackeray, Rati Agnihotri and Subhash K. Jha.

The jury members will review films and give in their votes to deserving candidates / films. This year the venue for the Provogue – Global Indian Film Awards (GIFA) is in Kuala Lumpur and is being held under the aegis of Malaysia tourism.

“Provogue GIFA is a very special award because we interact with very special people. The venue for the awards makes all the difference and what better place than Kaula Lumpur in Malaysia. I am looking forward to my visit. They say it’s paradise,” says Rati Agnihotri.

Sandeep Chowta says, “I am looking forward to be in Kaula Lumpur. Only few will be awarded, but everyone will enjoy and have fun in Malaysia.”
