MUMBAI: K Sera Sera Productions managing director Rajesh Pavithran has put in his papers at the company. Pavithran’s last day with K Sera Sera Productions will be 28 February, 2008.
According to information available to Businessofcinema.com, Pavithran is slated to join Applause Entertainment as CEO. He will be replacing Applause Entertainment CEO Anshuman Swami who resigned in July last year.
Confirming the development, Pavithran says, “There was no specific reason for quitting K Sera Sera. It is just a career move for better prospects and opportunities. It is certainly a better offer.”
Speaking about his new assignment at Applause Entertainment, he adds, “As of now I don’t know which project I am going to take off with, but will definitely integrate my ideas with the existing ones.”
Prior to joining K Sera Sera, Pavithran was with Balaji Telefilms as chief operating officer. Pavithran joined K Sera Sera’s subsidiary company Twenty Twenty Television as chief operating officer. He was then promoted as K Sera Sera managing director in March last year.
