MUMBAI: Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has appointed Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif as its brand ambassador.
The announcement is slated to be made in the coming week by Etihad Airways vice president marketing Andrew Ward and Etihad Airways country manager India Neerja Bhatia along with Katrina.
The actress was recently seen in the hit film Rajneeti along with Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn amongst others. According to the officials from the airline, the association with Katrina would boost the brand image of Ethiad Airways.
Katrina will next be seen in Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan opposite Akshay Kumar. The movie is slated to release on 24 December. She has also recently signed Yash Raj Films’ untitled movie, where she is paired opposite Imran Khan. The movie will be directed by debutant Ali Abbas Zafar.
