Mumbai: Kingfisher Airlines and multiplex chain Fame have inked a promotional alliance whereby frequent flyers of Kingfisher Airlines would be able to earn and redeem King Miles at Fame multiplexes. This alliance marks the first time ever that an airline has partnered with a multiplex chain.
With this alliance, Fame Multiplexes will now be able to deliver added value to its guests. King Club members will now be able to redeem King Miles they have earned for movie tickets at Fame Multiplexes. Moreover, King Club members will also be able to earn King Miles on money spent at Fame Cinemas. Every ticket purchased adds partner King Miles to the King Club Card.
King Club deputy general manager Anshu Sarin said, "At King Club, our vision is to deliver unmatchable and innovative benefits to our members, in partnership with leading national and international brands. The alliance with Fame Multiplexes is yet another initiative that promises to reward our guests".
"We have kept the mechanism very simple. Often such promotions don’t help because of the complexity that users face in order to earn / redeem the King Miles. In this promotion all the King Club members need to do is to show up at the Fame Cinema with their King Club Card and redeem their King Miles to buy tickets for the movie. It is as simple as 1-2-3!" says Fame Cinemas head of marketing Abhishek Raina.
Fame Cinema managing director Shravan Shroff said "We are thrilled with the tie up between Fame Cinemas and Kingfisher Airlines. I am sure this will benefit our guests and we will continue to offer such promotions to add value to our guests."
The offer will be valid from 11 July.
