Loot gets Diwali item song

Mumbai: Loot marks Mika’s acting debut. When an   item number was needed for the long-delayed film’s  revival, who but the sexy Rakhi Sawant to the rescue? However, Mika refused to dance with Sawant.

The surprising thing is not that she was approached  but that she agreed.  In 2006,  Sawant had approached the National Commission For Women alleging that Mika had sexually assaulted her by forcibly kissing her at a party.

Ever since then the musician and the item bomb have been  at loggerheads making barbs and digs at one another at any given opportunity. It therefore seemed unlikely that they would ever get together for dance.

Viacom 18’s Vikram Malhotra  confirms that Rakhi Sawant was indeed meant to shake her booty with Mika for an item song in Loot. “Loot has been in the making for some time. But when we saw the film we were blown away by its entertainment quotient. Because we’re planning to release it for Diwali we decided to add  a crackerjack Diwali item-song. Mika makes his acting debut as a golden-hearted don in Bangkok.”

The four  actors of Loot, Govinda, Suniel Shetty, Javed Jaffry and Maahakshay Chakraborty would also be joining Mika and Sawant in the song which started shooting on Monday.

The track choreographed by Remo d’Souza goes, Item dhamaka hai, mauka patakha hai, khuli tijori hai, jam ke loot.
