MUMBAI: Mallika Sherawat, who made headlines with her bold scenes in movies like Khwahish and Murder, has launched her own website. Sherawat, who was celebrating the success of her latest film Pyaar Ke Side Effects from Pritish Nandy Communications’ stable, announced that her website is called www.mallikasherawatwow.com.
The website gives every fan an up-close and personal view of all the happenings in the actress’ life. Sections on the site include Fan Club, In The News, Filmography, Biography, Wallpapers, Picture Gallery, Events, Videos, E-cards, Trivia and Guest Book. A vibrant website with ample pictorials, it has pictures of the actress from all the events she has been a part of like the Rock Stars World Tour, Mahalaxmi Racecourse Derby Event and NDTV’s Jai Jawan.
Details of her forthcoming movies have also been provided on the website. Some of the movies that Sherawat is currently working on are: Fauj Mein Mauj, which has Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Upen Patel, Asrani, Lillete Dubey and Arbaaz Khan as her co-stars; Guru starring Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Vidya Balan and Madhavan and Tamil movie Dasavatharam with Kamal Haasan.
What’s more, fans can also send Sherawat’s E-cards to friends and be a part of the actress’ fan club. Sherawat exploded on the Indian cinema screens in 2003 with Khwahish. She has also been featured on the cover page of magazines like Cosmopolitan, Filmfare, Femina, Man’s World and the London based Snoop magazine.
She was also the first Indian actress to star in a Jackie Chan movie – The Myth, for which she travelled to Cannes and Toronto film festivals. Sherawat recently has also been roped in as the brand ambassador for 7 Up Curvy.
