MUMBAI: Director Mohit Suri has signed Mashhoor Amrohi for two of his forthcoming films.
Suri, who has directed Zeher, Kalyug and Woh Lamhe, was impressed with Amrohi’s performance in the rushes of Tajdar Amrohi’s home production Hum Laakh Chhupayein Pyaar… Magar.
“I’ve known Mashhoor since childhood, but I was completely unaware of his ability as an actor. I can say with confidence that he has the potential to rock Bollywood in the years to come,” says Suri.
Mashhoor Amrohi has not just made his acting debut with Hum Laakh…, but has also written and directed the film.
