Moushmi daughter receives Rs. 1.1 million for her debut film

Mumbai: In the Hindi film industry female actors are usually paid less than the male actors. But debutante Megha Chatterjee, daughter of actress Moushmi Chatterjee is said to being paid Rs. 1.1 million, while the hero Hyder Ali is getting only Rs. 300 thousand.

The movie in question is Raja Bundela’s forthcoming film Sirf Romance – Love By Chance. Megha has been paired opposite Aamir Khan’s brother Hyder Ali. Mother Moushmi Chatterjee refuses to comment on the issue while director Bundela doesn’t contradict the same. “I’m just the writer-director. I have been told to narrate the story. Instead, I sent a bound script, which they liked. The money was discussed by the producer Deepak Sharma who is a builder by profession and owns a shopping mall.”

Further Bundela add that he will shoot the film from August 11 in a non-stop schedule in Delhi for talkie portions, followed by song picturisation in Mussorie.

Budgeted at Rs. 30 million plus, the film also stars Raj Babbar and Zeenat Aman in important roles. Ibrahim Ashq has penned the lyrics while Anand Raaj Anand will provide the musical compositions.
