My characters in ‘Shanghai’ would go to see ‘Rowdy Rathore’: Dibakar Banerjee

Akshay Kumar, Rowdy Rathore
MUMBAI: ‘Rowdy Rathore’s smashing all-pervasive success has not bothered Dibakar Bannerjee at all.
Luckily for ‘Shanghai’ and its team, its producer PVR who owns many theaters would make sure that the film stays put in cinema halls during the second week.
As for ‘Rowdy Rathore’, Dibakar in many ways sees it as an ally of Shanghai. "In fact if the characters in my film want to see a film they’d almost certainly choose ‘Rowdy Rathore’," says the Director.
