English Vinglish is a comeback for legendary actress Sridevi, who is returning to Indian Cinema after 14 years.
English Vinglish is produced by R Balki, whose previous movies ‘Cheeni Kum’ and ‘Paa’ have gained much appreciation. The movie is directed by debutant, Gauri Shinde.
The plot of the film is pretty unsual, Sridevi is a simple woman who has a problem understanding and speaking the English language. She maneuvers across the globe with her broken English and eventually is successful and gains mastery over the language.
The film focuses on the emphasis laid in using the English language. The English language posses as a challenge for people who come from different backgrounds but at the same time the language is quite essential. The film highlights the stories of such individuals and depicts the lead character tackling such situations. We are sure the fans are sincerely awaiting the poster launch of the movie.
