MUMBAI: NDTV Lumiere will be screening award winning films under ‘Experience Cannes’ at PVR Cinemas.
The contemporary films from the Festival de Cannes will be screened over a period of seven days.
The Experience Cannes film festival will be held at PVR Cinemas in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore from 8 – 14 May with a different movie to be screened every day at 1 pm.
Some of the films to be showcased at the festival include, The Class, Three Monkeys, Persepolis, Tulpan, Days of Glory, Silent Light, Mourning Forest and The Edge of Heaven.
NDTV Lumiere director Sunil Doshi said, "We at NDTV Lumiere wish to bring a near simultaneous experience of being in Cannes and expose cinema lovers in India to films from the masters of contemporary and emerging cinema from Europe."
These films will also be showcased on the NDTV Lumiere TV channel from 13 – 24 May.
