MUMBAI: "Sunburn – The Movie", a film based on Goa’s popular electronic music festival, is set to be co-produced by Percept Pictures, Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Phantom Films.

The film’s launch party was held here Tuesday night.

It was attended by the head honchos of both the companies, along with officials from Phantom Films, with whom they have joined hands to make the first Indian movie based on Asia’s largest electronic dance music festival – Sunburn.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of Phantom Films has mentored the film, teaming with seven directors to discreetly shoot the festival during the last edition.

"Today we announce ‘Sunburn-the film’, thank you Percept and Viacom for backing us. It was shot discreetly at the last SUNBURN with 7 directors," Kashyap tweeted Tuesday night.
