Mumbai: Where all actors are busy jumping onto the cola-endorsing wagon, Katrina Kaif has signed on to be the brand ambassador for PepsiCo India’s mango drink Slice.
With this endorsement, Kaif becomes not just the first ambassador of the mango juice drink, but also the first Bollywood actress to endorse a product in the juice category. Healthy seems to be the mantra for the Welcome and Race stunner.
Kaif will also be seen promoting Slice Mangola, Mumbai’s local brand of Slice. PepsiCo India VP Homi Battiwalla commented, "We are delighted to associate Katrina Kaif as the brand ambassador for Slice and are positive that she will help build the brands connect with our core consumers."
Speaking on this association the actress said, "I am extremely proud to be associated with Slice. When the brand approached me, I readily agreed because it is the best-tasting mango drink, and has been my favorite for a long time. Its delicious taste makes it a perfect drink suitable for all occasions."
Last year, Slice was one of the best-selling brands of PepsiCo and the company hopes to supersede last year’s success with the support of Kaif.
