Mumbai: Information and Broadcasting minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi has been admitted to the AIIMS Hospital in New Delhi following a severe breathlessness and lung congestion on 13 October morning.
Dasmunsi was admitted to cardiology department and doctors attending him said that his condition is serious.
According to media reports, Dasmunsi has been put on ventilator. "He had a complete left ventricular failure of the heart when he was admitted," AIIMS spokesperson Y K Gupta told a news channel.
He was first taken to the casualty wing and after his condition was stable, he was admitted to Coronary Care Unit (CCU).
