MUMBAI: Precept Productions managing director and filmmaker Shoieb Yunus and Jawad Qureshi executive producer of the film, Streets of Karachi, will attend MIPCOM in Cannes, France next week to promote the film.
"Our film, Street of Karachi is ready for worldwide distribution, and we are meeting with distribution companies and DVD producers from all over the world at MIPCOM," remarked Yunus.
Qureshi added, "The connections we make at this show will help us promote and target our future film, TV and entertainment projects."
The concept and storyline were developed by Yunus, and the screenplay was written by Yunus, M. Dilawar Khan and Abdul Salam Naz.
The male lead is played by Adil Murad, the female lead is played by actress and model Nadia Hussain and the lead character is played by actor Munnawar Saeed.
Streets of Karachi is a drama about a man who is not happy despite being successful. He visits his ancestral hometown of Karachi and realizes Karachi is a vibrant city as well as the backbone of his country, where people from all over Pakistan come to fulfill their dreams. And, then events take a turn.
The film premiere was held this summer in the USA in Palo Alto, California.
