MUMBAI: Triveni Films International’s Bhojpuri film Piya Tohe Se Naina Lage, starring Priya Gill, will release on 18 May 2007.

The film has been produced by Rishi Prakash Mishra and directed by Balakrishna. The film is a story of a city educated boy who comes to his village and wants to change the system at village level so that villagers do not need to migrate to cities.

Priya Gill, who has feature in Hindi films like Tere Mere Sapne, Sirf Tum, Josh, Bade Dilwala, will essay her first role in a Bhojpuri film. She has paired opposite Akhilesh Pandey in the film.

The film also feature Kashish Duggad, Akansha Soni, Vibhuti Tripahati, Geeta Kataria, Smita Mishra and Sambhavana Seth.
