Mumbai: PVR Cinemas has won the Reid & Taylor Award for Retail Excellence in the Fun and Entertainment Category.
The Reid & Taylor Retailer is a business award presented to an exclusive brand or multi-brand retailer of fashion, food, beauty, leisure, entertainment and others with a single or more outlets showing outstanding performance with expansion within the boundaries of its operation in the previous year.
PVR managing director Ajay Bijli said, "It’s a proud moment for all of us that PVR has won this great honor. It’s also a fitting tribute to the spirit of Mumbaikars who thronged to full houses at our newest multiplex at Phoenix mills, which was opened barely a month after the dreaded terror attacks in Mumbai. We dedicate this award to our esteemed 20 million patrons who we entertain in our 26 multiplexes across the country. PVR stands for excellence and this award is recognition of it."
