MUMBAI: PVR Pictures will be releasing Terrence Malick’s The Tree Of Life in India.
The Tree of Life is an American drama written and directed by Malick, and stars Sean Penn, Brad Pitt and Jessica Chastain. It’s about the life journey of the eldest son Jack, through the innocence of his childhood to his disillusioned adult years.
The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and won one of the highest honors a film can receive, the Palme d’Or. It also won the Best Independent Trailer award at Golden Trailer Awards and was nominated for Most Original and Best of Show as well.
