BigAdda, Planet Alert and Rahul Bose launched a community blog – www.gogreen.bigadda.com. This is the company’s latest initiative to reach out to the youth and create awareness on environmental issues that plague our world today.
Planet Alert is presented by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) this year and is an initiative by GYAAN. Planet Alert is a mega swades campaign to combat one of the biggest worldwide concerns- climate change. It is a platform that offers day-to-day solutions to combat this increasing crisis.
Bose said, "Let me confess, I am not a great fan of blogging, but I volunteered to write and record a green blog as part of my activities as an alert ambassador for Planet Alert. There are so many things that India should know about the clear and present danger to this country as a result of climate change and initiatives that they can do to make a difference today, because it’s late, but not too late."
BigAdda head of revenue and marketing Mandar Natekar said, "The Go Green Blog is a collective effort to make people more environmentally conscious and work towards the very serious issue of climate change. We are a youth platform and this is one more step in our ongoing effort to connect with them and empower them for a better tomorrow. This is an attempt to reach out to people across the country and we are happy to use our pan India presence to support this cause."
Planet Alert also featured its celebrity promotional film that highlighted on climate issues featuring personalities such as Dr. Rajendra Kumar Pachauri, Rahul Bose, Boman Irani, Neha Dhupia, Vinay Pathak, Dia Mirza, Arbaaz Khan, Purab Kohli among others.
